recording artist W.E.S. announces his upcoming CD entitled Urban
Planet by the pre-release of two cuts “Katrina” and “More Light.”

Smith (aka W.E.S.) is crossing over with this new album from
straight ahead jazz (with his group The W.E.S. Group) to another of
his talents, hip hop and neo soul. The W.E.S. Group is known for
its self-titled CD of original jazz pieces and for “A Jazz Mass”
which sets the liturgy to jazz in a most delightful way.
Through educating others about music, Dr Smith is able to get
inside the energy of sound and inspire people.
The new release of W.E.S. will be available in early December 2006
and you are the first to know.
Dr Smith will host a jazz and hip hop event at the Bohemian Caverns
(11th and U Streets, NW, Washington, DC) Thursday September 28, 2006
